Global Missions Action Network
Tuesday, October 6, 7:00pm — Rock Church
Ramona Mobbs will be sharing about her recent trip with a medical missions team to rural villages in Uganda. She is planning to provide a sampling of some Ugandan dishes for everyone to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Clothing & Stuff Exchange
Saturday, October 10, 11:00am to 4:00pm in the Fellowship Hall
Donate your gently used clothing and household items and take what you need. You may drop off your donations at the Welcome Center before and after Bible Study as well as during the week.

Harvest Festival
Saturday, October 31, 4:00pm – 8:00pm
We are collecting donations of wrapped candy that will be given away as prizes in the game booths. If you can donate a bag or two of candy, please drop it off in the Candy Donation bin located in the church lobby or in the office.

We are also in need of willing volunteers to help with set-up, with the food and games and to help with putting everything away. If you would like to help, please visit the Info Center where you can find sign-ups sheets, thank you.

Kids Camp Outreach (We need you!)
We could really use your help in extending the invitation to our summer outreach to kids in your neighborhood.  Please pray about whom you might invite and pick flyers at the usher’s tables or the Welcome Center. Thank YOU!

Chili Dog Feed
Join us on Sunday, May 24 for our ‘Chili Dog Feed Fundraiser’. All proceeds will go towards purchasing supplies needed for our UGM Service Project at Camp Tshimakain.

North Country Collective
Join us at 5:00pm on Sunday, May 31 in the Fellowship Hall for the Word, to pray, worship, fellowship, grow.

Baby Bottle Boomerang
Baby Bottle Boomerang takes place now and ends on Father’s Day, June 21. Families and individuals take a baby bottle home and fill them with change, bills or checks, and return them to the Welcome Center; all monies go to the Open Arms Pregnancy Care Center and Real Choices Clinic in Coeur d’Alene. Bottles are located at the Welcome Center.

Friday, July 4 we will be celebrating with a Baptism and Picnic – everyone is invited! The church will provide hot dogs and hamburgers, please bring something yummy to share if you can.

Sign-up sheets are at the Info Center for those who would like to be baptized, as well as those who would be willing to help with set up, with food and with clean up.

Sunrise Service
A sincere ‘thank you’ to all the many volunteers who helped set-up for Sunrise Service on Saturday and for those who served as ushers, food servants and security on Sunday morning; you were a blessing to all the many people who came to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection.

Kid’s Camp Meeting
If you’ve already sign-up to help with this summer’s Kids Camp Outreach, join us Sunday morning at 1:00pm in the Bridge-Gap Room for our monthly meeting. Don’t forget our ‘Fatted Chili Dog Fundraiser’ before and after Bible Study next Sunday, May 4; all proceeds benefit our Service Project at the UGM Camp.

Women’s Prayer
Saturday morning, May 3 at 9:30am, women are welcome to meet in the sanctuary for a time of prayer. There will be no childcare, but you may bring your children with you.

Global Missions Action Network
Tuesday, May 6 at 7:00pm in the Rock Church, Dawn Brozodsky, an independent missionary working in East Africa will be speaking. She works with many missionaries and native pastors in a ministry of intercession and helps. All are welcome to attend.

Quilting and Handcraft Group
The Quilting and Handcraft Group will be meeting tomorrow from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Youth Room. Join us as we do a variety of handcrafts. If you don’t have a project to work on, you are still welcome to attend.

We will be live-streaming the service in our sanctuary Sunday, October 27 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. No child care is provided.

Join us Thursday, July 4th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm for lots of fun, food and fellowship at our annual Fourth of July picnic and baptism. The church provides the hotdogs and hamburgers, bring along a salad or dessert. There is also a pie-baking contest and a chili cook-off.

Sign-up sheets are at the Info Center for those wishing to be baptized as well as those who can help with set-up and tear down.

We are accepting donations of new, hand-made knit, crocheted or sewn hats or caps, to benefit those at Kootenai Medical Center who are undergoing chemotherapy, in sizes from newborn to adult. If you aren’t a crafter, donations of yarn are happily accepted. There are patterns and yarn available in the lobby.

The Rules:

• Must be new – never worn
• Clean – free of purfume, pet hair and smoke
• Placed individually in clear ziptop plastic bags
• Soft yarn is best – cotton, acrylic, silk, fleece or blend is best. Please do not use wool or alpaca as they can irritate the scalp.
• We accept baby, children, youth and adult hats
• Please use patterns that do not have gaps or large holes. A tighter stitch is best so that it covers the scalp
• Be sure to wash your hands on a regular basis while making the caps.

Other accepted items:

• Scarves
• Blankets
• Yarn

We will be starting a four class series called “Bible 101” . The class is for anyone who desires to get a little more familiar with some foundational truths of Christianity, or for those who want to review some of the basics.

These classes will begin Sunday February 3. Each class will be from 1:30pm – 2:30pm and will take place in the Fellowship Hall. There is no cost; everyone is invited.

Our Christmas Craft Fair is Saturday, December 1st, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Browse for homemade crafts and enjoy soups, chili, bread and rolls in the Fellowship Hall.
