Memorial Service for Pastor Clayton Johnson
Our dear brother, Pastor Clayton, has entered into life and gone home to be with the Lord. He left us early Wednesday morning, September 30. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Sanctuary on Saturday, October 31 at 11:00 am. The family invites all who knew Pastor Clayton to attend; everyone is welcome. An entree and dessert will be provided, if you can, please bring a side dish to share.

Daylight Saving Time Ends
Don’t forget to change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday night, October 31. Daylight Saving Time will end when the clocks “fall back” on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2 a.m.

Operation Christmas Child Collection Week Volunteers
At nearly 5,000 locations across the nation, volunteers will welcome and pray with people who drop off Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Other volunteers will fill cartons and load trucks with the millions of shoeboxes we prayerfully anticipate receiving. You have the opportunity to help. Volunteers are needed from Monday, November 16 to Monday, November 23. Please visit the Info Center to sign up; thank you.

Widowed Women’s Fellowship
For women who have lost their husbands through death, hoping to provide strength and encouragement to each other on the same journey. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall, Room 1, this coming Sunday, November 1, and on the first Sunday of each month immediately after second service.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner will take place on Sunday, November 22, at 5:00 p.m. in the Jacklin Event Building at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. The church will provide the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and gravy; we need willing servants to prepare these items, as well as helpers for setup, serving, and cleanup. If you would like to help, have any questions, or need a map to the Fairgrounds, please visit the Info Center. Everyone is welcome.

Chapel Bookstore
Did You Know? Our Coffee Shop and Bookstore aren’t just open before and after service; they are both open during the week. Enjoy some coffee and a good book. The Coffee Shop and Bookstore are open Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Fridays, 8:00 am to 6:45 pm. See you there! You may call the Bookstore directly by dialing 208-629-2427.

Our Roku channel is up and running once again. When you can’t make it to North Country Chapel in person for Bible Study, did you know you can watch the Bible Study on Roku Digital Media devices over the internet? Visit: https://www.roku.com If you don’t have a Roku account, you will need to create one. To watch our Bible Studies on your Roku: 1. Go to Roku Channels https://channelstore.roku.com/browse 2. Search in the Channel Store for the “North Country” channel. The channel description says, “Live and On-Demand streaming services and events from North Country Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho.”

Bible Study and Worship
You are warmly invited to join us for Bible Study and Worship in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bob is teaching verse by verse through the Epistle of Paul to the Romans. Join us on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. as Pastor Bob will begin teaching another book of the Bible, and on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Bob is teaching verse by verse in Acts. As a church family, we are committed to the safety of you, your family, and all who attend North Country Chapel. We ask those who feel poorly or believe they may have an illness that could spread to others to stay home and join us online for Bible Study.

Online Weekly Bible Studies
For those who are uncomfortable attending services in person due to an illness or are not feeling well, all our Bible Studies are currently online, and we invite you to join us via our website and on the radio. You can access our studies in the following ways:

• Audio of the study is available after the service (10:30 a.m. Sundays, 8:30 p.m. Mondays, and Fridays) on our Latest Studies page and our app. Videos of the studies will be available by Tuesday afternoon.
