Vacation Bible School
Thank you, volunteers, for the many ways you served the kids at this summer’s Vacation Bible School. You were a blessing to many, and VBS would not be possible without our willing volunteers; thank you.
July 4th Baptism and Barbecue
Our July 4th Baptism and Barbecue is coming up soon, and you’re invited! Join us on Saturday, July 4, for our annual Baptism and Barbecue. Set-up begins at 10:00 am, the Baptism will take place at noon, with the Barbecue to follow. The church will provide hot dogs and hamburgers; if you’re able to, please bring a tasty dish to share. Sign-up sheets are at the Info Center for those who would like to be baptized, as well as those who are willing to help set up, with food, and with putting things away. If you would like to enter the Pie Baking Contest, please sign up at the Info Center.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
Men are invited to NCC’s Men’s Prayer Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, in the Fellowship Hall. Pastor Bob will be speaking; all men are welcome for a morning of prayer, fellowship, and a hearty breakfast. Join us as we get encouragement from the Word of God and your brothers in Christ.
Sunday School Help is Needed
We need Teachers and Helpers! Our Sunday School and Nursery classrooms need Teachers and Helpers. We have many openings for you to choose from, at both of our Sunday morning services, and in the Nursery on Friday nights at our 7:00 pm service.
Here are our current openings:
9:00 am (1st) Service Helper in the 7 and 8-year-old classroom and the 9 and 10-year-old classroom
9:00 am (1st) Service Teacher & Helper in the 9 and 10-year-old-classroom
9:00 am (1st) Service Helper in the 11 and 12-year-old classroom
11:00 am (2nd) Service Helper in the Nursery on the 2nd Sunday of the month
7:00 pm Friday Service Helper on the 4th Friday of the month, as well as on a casual basis
Helpers can be 14 years old and up!
Please visit the Info Center to pick up a Children’s Ministry Application, or to answer your questions. You may also call the Office at (208) 773-7100. Thank you for your willingness to serve our children and teach them that “Jesus Loves You!”
North Country Chapel Community Family Camp
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for Family Camp at Farragut State Park, and we need you to come! The hope and heart behind this event are to provide a simple yet rich opportunity for our church body to enjoy Christ-centered fellowship in an atmosphere that encourages connection with one another. Our Roku channel is up and running once again. When you can’t make it to North Country Chapel in person for Bible Study, did you know you can watch the Bible Study on Roku Digital Media devices over the internet? Bible Study and Worship
You are warmly invited to join us for Bible Study and Worship in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bob is teaching verse by verse through 1 Peter. Join us on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. as Pastor Bob is teaching verse by verse through Revelation, and on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Bob is teaching verse by verse in Acts. As a church family, we are committed to the safety of you, your family, and all who attend North Country Chapel. We ask those who feel poorly or believe they may have an illness that could spread to others to stay home and join us online for Bible Study.
Online Weekly Bible Studies
For those who are uncomfortable attending services in person due to an illness or are not feeling well, all our Bible Studies are currently online, and we invite you to join us via our website and on the radio. You can access our studies in the following ways:
- Audio of the study is available after the service (10:30 a.m. Sundays, 8:30 p.m. Mondays, and Fridays) on our Latest Studies page and our app. Videos of the studies will be available by Tuesday afternoon.
Gifts & Offerings
Those who call North Country Chapel their church home, you may donate online via North Country Chapel’s website by selecting the Giving tab or accessing the same giving site using NCC’s app on your smartphone. Finally, you may also sign up for Text Giving by texting the word GIVE to 208-544-4414 and following the prompts. Prayer Requests
- Please pray for Delta, she is 2 years old and was diagnosed with leukemia and will be starting chemotherapy soon.
- My roommate needs prayer. TG
- I need prayer to be able to see and talk to my mom since the people at her convalescent home are keeping me from doing so.
- I’ve found a law firm to help me with the difficulties I’m having with my mom’s convalescent home. Now I need prayer that they take my case.
- My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, which has spread to her brain and spine. Please pray for her to go into remission and healing.
- Prayers for my wife as she goes through some testing this afternoon (heart) and gets ready for surgery on her foot on Monday.
- I’m the mother of three boys and a wife to a wonderful husband; he’s a good man. My husband was diagnosed with melanoma. He’s scheduled for surgery next Tuesday, and I would really appreciate prayer from those who also love the Lord. B
- Please pray for me, my throat is being damaged by painful acid reflux. Thank you for your prayers. EDR
- I feel as if I’m losing faith in God and Jesus. I need your prayers.
- Please pray for me. I am 33 weeks pregnant and at risk for preterm labor. This is our first baby after years of infertility, and we pray every day to make it full term without any problems. A
- My husband has lost all love for me, and says he’s going to file for divorce. I’m asking for prayer, that God would make His plan clear to me. We’ve only been married for four years. I am so sad and confused.

- Please pray for me that I stop drinking alcohol. I am an alcoholic, and it pains me to even say that aloud.
- My mom passed away at home under the care of hospice. We lay her to rest today and really need prayers of comfort. Thank you for praying for my family and me. JM

- I had surgery on Sunday. Please pray that the healing process takes place without anything bad happening to me. Patty
- Prayers for my 24-year-old daughter, whose leukemia came back more aggressive. Due to a bacterial infection that wants to take over her body, her bone marrow transplant has been canceled for now. Thank you.
- Please keep me in prayer. I’ve been living in my car for a while. I found a place to live, but the couple renting it backed out at the last minute because they don't want to turn in a W9 tax form. I have no time to find a place for July. Please pray for a miracle and for God's mercy on my life. I can't live in my car anymore. I'm about to turn thirty-eight.
- My friend says he prays every night that he doesn’t wake up the next day because he’s been so depressed. He’s recently divorced and hasn’t been able to see his child very often. Pray God will save him and bring him comfort. Please pray for Jesus to comfort him in His love and transform his life.
- I’m under the care of doctors for cancer, and I’m asking for prayer that my chemo treatments don’t make me too ill. J
- Please say a few extra prayers for my 9-year-old niece. Please pray for her healing.
- My daughter has leukemia and must undergo chemotherapy treatment. Her care team is waiting for all her blood tests to come back before making a treatment plan. The good news is that it isn’t in her bones. Please pray for her full recovery; thank you for your prayers.
- Please pray that I recover from my wisdom teeth surgery. I had to go to the ER and was prescribed antibiotics. My jaw was so swollen! Please pray for the swelling to go down and that I recover quickly. I have two young children to care for. Thank you for praying. MB.
- I'd like prayers for a new career, something that I can get interested in and that my body can manage. I want to be able to provide a good living for my wife and kids. Thank you.
- I’m going in for surgery on my carotid arteries, and I’m asking for prayer that all goes well. Carol
- Please pray for Brody that the Lord will give the doctors wisdom as to what is causing his pain.
- Please pray for the families of North Country Chapel who recently lost their wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; their families are grieving. Our prayer is for the Lord to bring them comfort and a special touch of tenderness when they need it most. Thank you for thinking of them and keeping them in your prayers.
