"Far Reaching Blankets"
We would like to begin collecting new, handmade blankets and afghans, of any kind (crocheted, knitted, quilted, fleece, fabric) that will be sent to Far Reaching Ministries. We cannot accept blankets larger than 36” by 60”. We are also collecting donations of yarn in your choice of color, style or texture. These blankets will be sent to Far Reaching Ministries, who minister to those in South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa; as well as to those in the Democratic Republic of Congo; Cape Town, South Africa; Undisclosed Closing European Countries; Undisclosed Closed Asian Countries; Undisclosed Closed Middle Eastern Countries; Mexico, and the United States. Today, FRM has 400+ team members deployed across 10 countries living out their faith by sharing the hope we have in Christ Jesus, disciple believers, and assisting those in need or peril, and working with those desiring to break the unrelenting cycle of violence and poverty. If you would like to donate a handmade blanket, please bring your blanket(s) to the Church Office. If you have any questions, please call the Office at (208) 773-7100. We will be collecting blankets until June 1, 2019.

Seasoned Salt Fellowship
On Wednesday, February 13 at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary, we will continue with our discussions of “Great Awakenings” or revivals in America. As we discussed earlier the first Great Awakening united the colonies and very probably without it, we would not have had the American Revolution.  We talked about Whitfield, John and Charles Wesley and others. There always seems to be a falling away and about 75 years later, we have the second Great Awakening.  This is a great story with individuals that are amazing- sold out for Christ.  We should never forget our history- we need to be reminded about what God has done.

Join Us For Bible Study
Pastor Bob is teaching verse-by-verse through the Old Testament book of 2 Samuel on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. On Monday evenings at 7:00 pm, our verse-by-verse study is in the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians, and on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm, our Bible Study takes us to the Gospel of John. Everyone is invited to join us as we study God’s Word, verse-by-verse.

  • I’m in desperate need of prayer. Last week my family and I went through a horrible time with my 17 year old brother. He’s a drug addict and alcoholic and we had to call the police because he was super aggressive, threatening to kill himself if we didn’t let him pack up and leave, destroying our apartment. He ended up telling the police that my mom (who is the best mom in the world) hurt him. We need prayer!

Parson to Person

There is nothing commendable in repentance: it is simply the recognition of the true state of affairs.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
